First of all, I am not reading through 100 more pages of this thread. 12 is enough and it didn't really help me although I know it got mentioned. If someone can have the generosity of helping me out real quick i'd really appreciate it.

So, I installed Conquer Online using file "conquer0322.exe". I download COTobo using the file in the first post (updated March 2006). I extract all the files into a single folder and run COTobo. I get the normal window of Conquer Online "Help, Enter, Exit". I click on "Enter" and it loads Conquer Online as normal. I then log-in and still, nothing happens.

What is missing?

Forget it.

I fixed it.

I changed the COtobo.ini file so that it uses Conquer.exe instead of Play.exe.

Only question is; why did it choose Play.exe?

most ppl here are too lazy to read the posts... they complain that there are too many... but if we erased all the noob questions and requests like "plz make a reconector master" and suck i bet that the posts will be few enough to be readable... but what do you expect... every noob comming in here and asking stupid questions... of course now you have 100+ pages of posts... if a gm would take the time to delete the useless noobie questions then it would be awesome... till then: Noobs... read the f&*king posts... you dont have to read all... just a few and your answer to your dumb a$$ question will be there!

A reconnect feauture won't be added. Currently I am working on rewriting the Player/Monster/Item notifier.

Birchy87:
By default it only lets you choose Conquer.exe, must be that you've chosen Play.exe instead.

I wonder why you would want to rewrite it?

Not sure, something must've went wrong in the download or extraction process because it would'nt let me choose what to run it with.

Forgot to add, which multi-client works with this program now?

hi

I note a little problem,
i don't know if it was report before cause read more then hundred page is too hard :s sorry

So with miner, after a few time (seems to be random), miner stop is mining action, no error, no disconnection, just stay in the mine with his pickaxe and wait for nothing
So it don't get ore, gem or other cause it just wait.

I use Xp Sp2,
and seems to haven't this problem before last patch, perhaps it's the cause, i don't currently try to reinstall an older co version.

EDIT: seems to be a lot of people in the mine who just wait with its pickaxe and make nothing, so perhaps its use cotobo tool or there some change in client/proto and u need to refresh u're click after a few time to continues the mining action.

ps: you make a very nice tool, good luck for future

Spybot is the program that spotted the killsec trojan in my computer.

I don't appreciate being called a *****, if I had come here to cause problems I would have called you a *******... get a grip, name calling doesn't help a situation...

I am going to do as said, delete the file, run all virus/spyware programs, and then download it again... if the killsec trojan doesn't appear again, I will glady let you all know and withdrawl my statement of "most probably".

Btw... the program itself is awesome... great job!

Many people are very paranoid of virus's, trojans, etc... I can imagine if you didn't realize you had something before you downloaded this program, but then ran a spyware sweeper and it found something... Then yeah it could appear the trojan came from cotobo.

No big deal, anyone could have made the same assumption and for those that came down a little hard on you for being naturally concerned, they should chill the hell out a bit. Unless of course they think they're perfect and have never jumped to conclusions before....

hmm stfu k, if ppl are worried about it then they should scan their system 1st without this program and then with, so I just hope ppl dnt jump 2 false conclusions and think choco would put a virus any of his programs. LadyDeathstrike is now doing the right thing and trying 2 find out where it really came from.

stfu yourself, I had something to say in defense of ladydeath, if you have a problem with that, it's your problem. I live with her, I know she is paranoid about virus's, I also know it was an honest mistake that she felt she got something from cotobo. The "*****" and "stfu" comments are uncalled for.

And she did scan her system before downloading the cotobo... It's just one of those freaky coincidence things, that's all. Anyway, we both think the cotobo program is awesome, and we know it's perfectly safe to download. +karma for choco and thanks to choco again for the great program. I personally think it's the best thing since sliced bread

who in the **** do you think you are? waltzing in here, with FOUR ******* posts, and backing up someone (with TWO ******* posts...) who blamed choco, a LEVEL 3 member, of packing in some trojans, viruses, and spyware? I am going to back The One up here....and tell you, without any regrets, tell you to shut the **** up. Kthnx.
