Retarded Bats

If you go to coords (034 045) in the tombbat caves in Maple Forest, you'll find these tombbats that just sit there and don't hit back. Someone verify that it works on other servers, because it definitely works on mine. Basically, any bat that walks into the circle of retardation freezes and stops hitting people. Watch out though, because sometimes they get "unretarded" when other bats next to it get killed.

If you're a low level trojan, warrior, or tao, it's a good spot to hit 3 or 4 black-named monsters with rage, or to train SS or FB.

What server have you tested this on, and also do you mean the cave by Wonderfalls?

the bug was on meteor. and yes i mean the wonderfalls cave.

it was probably stacked together, therefore it couldn't move.

I'm not an idiot. Don't condescend to me. These bats freeze so that when you jump right next to them, they won't attack you. I'm asking you to verify if this is a bug on all servers, or just a temporary one on Meteor, not dismiss the idea as a noob mistake.

ya thats a well known bug. At bird island there is an area where birdmen freeze and trojans and warriors go there to train alot. Its anoying though cause sometimes they dont stick and you die so its kinda gay :P

there is also one in MC at red devils. I dont know the coords, and im too lazy to go find the coords atm.

When I trained my tornado, I bugged all the red devil spots on the stair case so whenever a red devil tried to attack me he would get stuck on the stairs

anyways it's easy to do

summon a reborned gaurd, lure some devils to it, and let it die where you want the spot to freeze

resummon again in the exact same spot, let red devils hit it to almost dead, but DON'T LET IT DIE.

Get a level 40 tao or somthing and zap it until its dead



once it's dead the spot is bugged and monsters can't walk onto it without freezing

like if we do it on another spot the first one will stop being bugged

this could be very helpful for some quests where u have to kill some strong monsters to get things, ie. the exorcism quest with the devils.
