You are able to edit your .dat files such as itemtype.dat, userhelpinfo.dat, and monster.dat with the help of using the DeEn program. See "How to use" from the first post.

Hum,
I've try to modifie the Monster.dat, i've succeed in the decryption, i've modified the name of the dove but the re-encryption don't work! Help me pliz !

After I run the decrypter I got an error:
"DeEn Decrypt/Encrypt Software has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience..."

1. The Monster.dat is near the exe

2. I made a Monster.txt myself

3. DeEn, Monster.exe is in the /ini/ folder

And still doesn't work. Any ideas?

At beginning, i just want to change the name of the real dove.

I've download Monster.exe and DeEn.exe and i've puting it in /ini folder.

Just after, i've decrypt Monster.dat and i've modified the name in the file .txt

I save and i try to make the encrypt and it say error!

Can you try to encrypt my file txt or give my an Monster.dat file with name of dove midified

Can someone upload me a spare copy of monster.dat, because I got an error in the process of encrypting it. Forget to make a backup copy and played around.Turns out you can't encrypt a file that is already encryped^^.

hmm i'd say that'd have to do with changin the char scale...it'd take a while of trial and error just to do that, and im just plain lazy
