Ok, here is my problem. I freshly redownloaded CO after a few years of not playing and I go to look in my ini folder. I don't see an itemtype.dat file to replace it with. So what do I do?

The only files that start with the word, 'item' are.. itemprice and ItemTexture.

If you have a fresh CO installed. Start Conquer online and enter the game like normal. The quit and recheck. It should be there. Make sure your going into the conquer online directory and then the ini folder and scroll down to where itemtype.dat is. Even if its not there Just copy and paste the new itemtype that i have uploaded. And it should work regardless. Hope that helps

You mean by going, Start>My Computer>C://>Program Files>CO 2>ini? Because I put it in that folder and it's not working.

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question to ask, but what exactly does this do? I'd like to know before I mess with Conquer Onlines client files. I'm new to this stuff, so.. that explains my lack in knowledge. <- Naice afro, brah.

just as it says. All or any items that have a quality are now going to show [r][u][e][s] in the title now. And some of the drops your going to be able to see the quality too but i dont need to explain that right? you know already. If not look through the posts of this thread
