Logging back in TG

I am one of the unfortunate moderators on MSX and I apologize for being involved with that community. I hope this hasn't been suggested by anyone since I did a search and nothing came out.

I figured this out when I had enough of disconnecting when I almost made it to my stakes. I also disconnect just randomly.. I don't know why. Hopefully someone will benefit from this especially for players who often use tg to train.

1. Make sure you have a scroll with you to get out of tg because you will log back in tg no matter how many times you dc, and you can't use the Boxer at the very bottom of tg to get out.

2. Now, go to your map\map folder and copy target.Dmap to a backup folder.

3. Make a copy of desert.Dmap and rename it target.Dmap and overwrite the original target.Dmap.

4. Enter tg and you will be in tg but with a desert background. Now jump into an invalid coordinate like to far right of the stakes and you will disconnect. I suggest jumping out where no one is around.

5. Switch back target.Dmap with the original one and log back in.

There you have it. You are automatically logged back at the very top of tg close to lvl 100+ stakes. This saves me a crapload of stress. Whenever you dc, you will still log back in tg so bring a scroll as suggested.

Useful trick, but for me my scroll wouldn't work... I just respawn at the TG... Anyone else have this problem?

What? You respawn in tg after you use a scroll? Any scroll should do fine to get out.. can you be more specific?

Yea, I bought a TC Scroll, did the trick, trained a little, tried the boxer to see if it worked, used the scroll, d/ced, scroll was gone. I don't think it was coincidence that I d/ced after using the scroll. I am trying uninstalling and reinstalling, but the patch is taking forever to dload.

Reinstalling didn't work... ummm I am not sure what to do. I am stuck in the TG... Could anyone help me?

You did something wrong while you switched maps. Let's see, did you switch maps before you went in tg? And then switched maps again right when you disconnected when you entered tg?

And, btw, when you relogged, did you end up at the top of tg because that's where your suppose to be? If not, you did do something wrong in the process.

why not just use the tc teleport function in coder62's hack

download the proggy load co with it's coloader and press Ctrl+T

should work anywhere even a bugged tg...

if u login the original u wont be in tg rite?

just switch target.DMap and desert.DMap like you do for moonbox death tactic.

... did you even read the original post?

1. get a scroll
2. switch target.dmap with desert.dmap
3. goto tg, jump to 'invalid coordinates' (like way to the right for example), get dc'd
4. switch target.dmap with desert.dmap again (so now they're back to normal).

as for roundknot, if nothing else works have you tried switching back to desert (or another map with a portal like... arena?) and using a portal?

Ya it's very simple to use. All it is, is renaming a copied desert.Dmap to target.Dmap. That's it. Put that renamed desert.Dmap into a separate folder and just overwrite the original target.Dmap whenever you want to enter tg. Then right after you disconnect after jumping into an invalid coordinate, just overwrite the renamed desert.Dmap and replace it with the original target.Dmap. Use a scroll to get out of there.

After you replaced target.Dmap with the renamed desert.Dmap, when you enter tg, you should be in TG but with the desert map as the background. If you are, jump into an invalid coordinate. You will disconnect. Do not Log back in. Make sure you switch your maps back to the way they were and then log back in.

Ah I logged in before completion. Sorry about that, my fault entirely. Neat trick if I can do it right ps: And wow that coloader is amazing! My problem is solved. I assume it sends packets telling the server I just jumped to wherever. I did a search for packets, and found the Ultimate Packet Suite. Sounds cool. I also saw there was like a packet key creator. Where would a good place to start be so I can eventually work on sending my own packets?

it is the old version the packets completely changed unless ultimate gave u another one

i opened a new co folder called tg so i wont have to switch maps everytime haha

if you're worried about keylogged (... really? have you seen the filesize? lol) just open it in Notepad or something just a simple batch file.
