This is partly an exploit i know of, but as well a request to the community.
So here is what is confirmed and working, requires a reborn guard though. Watch the Spawn Position of Cityguards and remember that place, you will need it later on. Now just go ahead and kill one of those guards. Doesn't matter if you die from it or not, just revive and kill again. As soon as the Cityguard dies, jump to the place it will spawn at, summon a reborn guard and attack the just spawned cityguard again. Firstly the Guard will attack your reborn guard first, and after the reborn guard dies... the cityguard will get stuck most of the time. Sometimes it requires you to kill it yet another time, but the next time it spawns, it won't defend anymore nor kill any black or bluenames.
Based on this, here comes the request.
Any reborn Tao will probably have noticed the behaviour that when a guard dies at RedDevils the place he died might become a stuckspot. I've not found out how this is controlled exactly and how you can trigger it, but once you managed to establich such a stuckpoint it is EASY levels. As a trojan you can just hit and hit for a long time, as a Tao you keep on zapping, basically a much more efficient version of the TG.
So Stuckspot, what is this? Its one place on the floor the mobs will just stop working at. They just go inactive. You can stand in front of them, trigger animations. You can smash them or zap them, they just stand there until they die.
Now comes the request.... does anyone know how to trigger this? I've only got it working on random occasion, and thats just not enough
It has got to be something quite simple, as it triggers quite often and after 2-3 hours of leveling i usually end with 5 Stuckspots. Those Spots stay there until Server Maintenance so it always comes in handy.
Well the next thing is just a hint about how to town pk without getting owned by the cityguard. Requires a reborns guard too. Just summon your guard and sit under it. Kill your target, et voilá you got your 5 Seconds of Escape. The reborn guard attacks the Cityguard, Cityguard kills your reborn guard first and then suffers the 5-10 second delay of acquiring a new target. This delay is long enough for you to run away.
The best way to town pk is in tc. Click the furniture npc, but don't go in quite yet. Now, you can move a little ways away, but not so far that clicking that you want to enter will not work. Then, spawn your gaurd on top of you, and pk who you want. Now, you just enter furniture npc and wait to stop flashing or dc. whichever suits you best. I use this all the time. I suppose you could do it in other cities where the conductress is close to guards, and just go to market. And you could always use windscrolls.

Reborn Guard 07/11/2005 - Conquer Online 2 - 3 Replies alright well i've searched for ages and i can't find any information about the reborn guard exploit.
from what i know, this bug:
1) causes mobs to be "stuck" when they pass over a certain spot
2) also causes town guards to stop attacking flashing people (unless the town guard is killed) until next maint?
its possible that one is different to the other, but im sure they're quite similar. i can't seem to find any information on how to do either, though.
