Welcome to PuroCo, a " pro mod " for Conquer Online that is safe to use without risk of banned accounts or adding unpleasant looking graphics to your game. And the best part is you can play on your server with all of your accounts and are able to switch between Vanilla Conquer(default) & PuroCo! The mods main objective is to enhance the users experience by making things easier to see, become less annoying, or should have been included by the company and semi-similar to the " low definition " setting. added Zatoichi's Maxtrix Dojo for Arena Map
added more accurate and detailed Health & Mana bubble in HUD (800x600 not supported)
added unified looking potions. all pots are now bottles. fluid level indicates quality of potion
added smaller and more accurate minimap player location icons
added subtle and cleaner 2nd reborn metempsychosis effect
added circle of protection luckytime (fixed) with sound
added custom buddha style jiang hu window background image
removed annoying blinking gold triangle at the bottom for chat windows
removed obsolete icons, cp boxes, conquer 7th anniversary boxes
removed scatter hit sound which causes sound overhead / spamming

changed low quality weapon effects. refined, unique, and elite weapons have red-ish and blue-ish trails. Now they have nicer trails.

changed all weapon texture colors for refined(blue) unique(blue) elite(red) super(red). they are now DEFAULT. So intead of an elite wand being red, its now brown. Another example is the 115 super blades are red, they are now brown and silver like normal quality but with the glow, it ends up being a much nicer looking game overall this way. TQ has also decided to do this for all weapons to the new classes, i.e. ninja, pirate, and dragon warrior. There is about 3500 files I had to go through to create this part of the mod, enjoy

These items have been removed from the ground, but you can still buy them from NPC's and inventory, auto hunting will also pick these up:

well the game is pretty dead after tq failed for a week straight. i released the mod when everything was fixed. i havent gotten any feedback or comments. hell, i havent even logged in since i released the mod.

so yeah, of course videos and an image gallery on the website would be ideal, but when i dont even know if anyone is even downloading it, why am i going to invest anymore time into the mod when...

1. nobody comments
2. i already spent a HUGE number of hours working on it
3. i dont even login since the tq crash

you could have went to the site, read the front page, and understood that you can safely download and try the mod without damaging your normal installation of conquer.

when i run PuroCo and play, no items or gold drop from monsters. i installed it all correctly, but yeah nothing drops. is this normal?

yes i removed the small amounts of gold like sycee etc.... only gold that shows is ground name "gold" and higher amounts, they now show as a small gold ticket for gold, 1bar 2bar 3bar. by removing the weaker useless items it saves on ground spam and graphical lag.

*NOTE* vip bots will still pick up the items that are invisible.

how do i know that PuroCo is working? i downloaded, copied co file and unzipped into the secondary file in order however i still see all the minor items you have said you've removed. is this because i'm VIP or is it cause i installed somthing wrong. please get back to me thanks

there is two ways to know if puroco is working.

1. the title bar next to the minimize and close button will say puro co
2. the splash screen on startup will say puroco

if anyones interested, here are some things that are ready for 1.1
going to keep doing more work then release it maybe the 20th or so...

added custom icon to use with PuroCo desktop shortcut
removed annoying flashing triangle next to chat avatar icons on GUI
re-added stancher ground icon because its a 2nd rebirth quest item(dream grass)

new and accurate square shaped minimap icons for player, friend, teammate, spouse, enemy

• player = gold
• friend = green
• teammate = teal
• spouse = red
• enemy = white x

added custom minimaps from community members plus puroco team:
