Yes, this was slapped together into a seperate app from the experimental memory stuff a while back.
TQ does check these forums, so the title + filename is just a small safety precaution. Not saying this will rule out getting botjailed, it's still quite easy for them to detect known/public hacks.
well its not like they can botjail all player who have notepad open.
If you raise the file size by 18kb it would be the same file size as notepad (or close enough), also the random title could also have a random length.
Also the name of the file is not the same as the compiled name.
And the assembly info should also match notepad.
Obviously as you said its still detectable but TQ are not the brightest light bulb in the house, so you could get away with it.
Or... What you can do is make an app that opens the real notepad, injects code into notepad. then closes. Then the notifier will work as long as notepad is open. although this would have to happen before conquer opens to be secure. The injected code would have to be able to detect when conquer opens.
Lol, you could give instructions to the user through notepad. Would be epic if you make notepad console commands for the app.

seems very doable. just a lot of effort.
I simply could have not released it and it would never go detected as it's pretty "non-invasive".
Anyhow, I fail to see the point of going to such extremes for some leechers
Since when + items can be detected on the ground? I thought you still need to pick them up so + attribute can be read.
Anyway, looks like a good tool.
+ items can be detected in this way. The "can't be detected" is just referring to the itemtype.dat editing. As they are not added in there. Technically this method could find items with any attribute.
I used this app yesterday. Its nice as you don't need a run button or anything, just run the app and you good to go. Although when there is loads of items on the floor its not easy to find the item you're looking for.

does anyone have an item notifier? 02/08/2008 - Zero - 9 Replies recently, there's a group of players identifying all sorts of elite stuffs everytime they identify, so im sure there's an item notifier like the one on COtobo that lets u see the quality of an unidentified item... or something like that..
or does anyone have any itemtype.dat they can share?..
