yah its a great idea, except whoever said the updates show up late is absolutely right...
they do, my mentor keeps tabs on my +1s for me.. but by the time he tell me the items LONG gone... so forget it

yah i scanned the "console co +1 notifier.zip " its clean but the program is sound effect were supposed to make sound after +1s drop well delayed and sometimes i doesn't function keep beeping around i did a test on my 2 client and help of an friend but its not fully working may something to do with the new patches

Right, Mentor's in co have this thing called Mentor Reward, and inside there they have +1 stone contribution. This +1 stone contribution increases by 0.01 everytime one of their apprentices kills a monster that drops a +1 item, so this means Mentors can be used as +1 item drop detection for apprentices... For this i have made a program, that will monitor +1 stone contribution of the Mentor while the Apprentice hunts, and it will play a "Window Low Battery" sound effect when a +1 item...
