My ItemType.dat Editor

I installed this into my conquer 2.0 folder i had no errors set everything up the way it said i logged on and grabbed a few pieces of gear such as a ref armor elite wep a gem and a met then all had the name titles in my invetory so that was good but i dropped them out of my invetory and u cant see them to pick them up off the ground luckily they were right underneath me i also killed monsters and i couldnt see any drops no money no armor no pots ect did i install it wrong? i also uninstalled it and reinstalled it running as admin still same thing so am i putting it in the wrong file or something?

- if you get an error then press abort and run as administrator.
- Pressing ignore can break your game, and would need a game reinstall!!
- if you don't see item names or icons on the floor anymore and you never pressed ignore then uninstall.

EDIT: I have uninstalled the editor, I still can't see items .... Do I have to reinstall Conquer now?

As stated above, if you don't see the item names or icons on the floor you have broke the games files. there are ways to fix it.

A: if you don't want to do anything technical then just re-install the entire conquer game.

B: if you don't see item icons on the floor then you may replace the "..\conquer\ani\mapitemicon.ani" file with the one below.

C: if you don't see item names on the floor then you may replace the "..\conquer\ini\itemtype.dat" file with the one below.

It does work greatly! !!!But!!! There is 1 issue! If you install it, all your items get new names.. wich mean... you cannot nolonger link items, without iten name "Elite[P]Snakehalbelt(+12)] in it... wich is reather annoying, since selling stuff is easier with linking items names and stuff :S

1 client for Farming, and 1 client for selling and etc

you are agreat man i replaced the mapitemicon in my arabic version and it is really working

Lol, Yeah the names will be changed and it will effect the chat linking of items. But there is nothing that can be done to fix this. And having 2 clients is never a bad idea.

New Version!

- Fixed a bug with manual edit
- Fixed a bug with CrackIT
- Added a timer to the CrackIT
- Optimised CrackIT to use all available CPU, to speed up the process.
- Added many error messages on possible bugs,
namely to notify users that they are not running the editor as administrator.
- Fixed a possible bug for future conquer versions.
- Probably some other things have been fixed that slipped my mind.

Are you sure, cos that can only happen if you manually delete the icons in the data file.

Anyway you can just uninstall and reinstall. and it will work again.

If a item type does not get a prefix then its not the editor that does not work its the conquer that does not allow it to be edited.

As for flashing icons, Armour will not and cant work.

Hey guys, if you're having trouble installing the files, Simply right click the file and click on "Run As Administrator." Then it will give you access to change the settings in the conquer folder. Good luck. And thanks =]
