YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A MERCHANT. THE ITEM CAN BE THE HIGHEST BATTLE POWER OF IT'S TYPE IN YOUR INVENTORY, AND THAT MESSAGE WILL COME UP. CLICK OK, THEN CLICK SOCKET AND IT'LL BYPASS IT AND GO RIGHT THROUGH. ONCE AGAIN, WORKING WITH 5116 AND YOU DO NOT! HAVE TO BE A MERCHANT.

not working for super earings, i have elite so im applying for the mechant. I tried it and it said "The locked or highest battle power item cannot be used to socket talismans". After that I clicked ok and it still didnt work...

seems to work with some refines and elites, but not working with other elites and NOT working with the supers.

i'm talking about all the free stuff from the gift packs...so sad, i have over 30 super items from all the gift packs and i can't use the supers to socket.

now i have over 10 waters waiting to RB, but can't rb cuz i need to wear the talisman...i guess i'll wait a little longer until a new conquer.exe is made

make them all merchants.. coz im **** sure they're the highest potency.. if they're are merchants.. then you wont have to worry bout that anymore

ya...gonna try the merchant method...gotta wait 5 days though...my startower is +5 super...i even put a super+5 SDG boot on and still says 'locked and highest battle power...'

you can't socket you fan with an item out of your inventory, which has the highest battle power.
