Speed hack in patch 5028, and all other old hacks!

Hey! I know everyone is looking for a speed hack to use in the new patch 5028. I did a little researching and I figured out how to do it. This also lets any of your old 5027 hacks work. I use the UCO NON-DC Speed hack found here:

Here is a step by step guide on how to get all of your old hacks working !!

1. Uninstall conquer online (Remember to back up all screenshots / things you want in your conquer 2.0 folder before uninstalling)

2. Reinstall by downloading the client again, Conquer has it at patch 5022 right now when you download it from the site. Patch up to 5027, and then stop it from patching to 5028. I did this by hitting CTRL + Alt + Del and pulling up the task window. When it runs "Auto_Patch.exe" then simply click it and hit end before it patches.

3. Go into your conquer online program files and open the file Version.dat using notepad.

4. It should say 5027, if it dosn't you did something wrong or have not patched all the way to 5027. Change the 5027 to 5028. This will bypass the patching because it thinks you already have 5028.

5. Open Conquer, It will be the old log-in screen and everything but it will still log you in and let you play. While in the game you can use ANY of the 5027 hacks, because you technically have 5027 still, and it lets you play. =)

6. Hack away... I just thought this may be helpful to everyone atleast until 5028 hacks are released.

Or do like I suggested in other thread, I don't see why one should Uninstall CO (unless you have the client patched to 5022 downloaded already.)

DE-Patch to 5022 and it should work.

- Get the 5022 patch
- Put in your CO folder
- Run
- After it has installed use taskmanager to close the autopatch
- Open version.dat change whatever is inside to 9999
- Open conquer
- Find your server & login (There are couple wierd servers at first, just scroll down and you come to centaur etc)
- Start desired tool
- Speed all you want.

if im goint to uninstal my co every time i want new speed hack then im an idiot. it takes ages and it sux.
