Okay, I went ahead and tried it anyway, luckily I did back up the original file and was able to reverse it. The following is what I got when a tired to open even one game screen;

Runtime error!
Program C Program files Conquer 2.0 conquer.exe
abnormal program termination
OK
Any ideas what has caused this anyone or how to fix it so that the multi client works? O.o
