Now we all should just make paypall dispute and make paypall give us our money we donated, back, saying they used on us, cheated giving us patch with viruses and with out our permission made us bots and made us break law XD Ull have 2 sell ur cars u bought for money from ppl u literally scammed...

Btw its sad 2 see how low tc team went, 1st they were banning/scamming innocent players ofc no donors to resell gears for donors huh (all heave seen convo between Kris and a player where he said he can easy bann any of no donor acc and resell gears, a guy offered him 1.5k$ for that...) now they use players as a ddosers so **** shame on u, u bunch of greedy on money kiddos

not really. it was a pretty **** attempt at getting people. the file was hidden oh no! the only people at any real risk by chris is the 40-50 year old moms and the 12 year old girls that played at his server who dont know any better.

could have been much more dangerous with a file-name changing worm, placing itself in popular folders, with autorun.inf executing the worm everytime the drive is used connecting to popular p2p mediums to spread itself rapidly.

instead we got a file hidden with the 'file property hidden', in three constant folders with the same filename. it's really really infantile malware that really should be targetting moms who want to see FWD:RE:RE:FWD:dancing-cats.jpg.exe rather than co players. On a scale of 1 to 10, i give it a .1...the .1 being given only because it used a trusted ps to spread itself. if this was implemented from day one without the trust then it would get a 0

Wow so this is what happened to the server..I cant believe they used us like this. The buy one get one free thing they had now makes sense.. Im definitely going to file a dispute to get my money back.

Let me explain, you won't be the only one doing a dispute. Make sure in your dispute you mention that a hidden botnet client was hidden in there game client and they shut down the server once people found out. Also, they shut down the game server without any prior notice and refuses to give you your money back cause I'm pretty sure Kris wouldn't. They intently distributed virus's in their client and used it to control your computer to ddos other servers. He still owes me like $250. If a few people does this when they dispute, paypal should refund you since it's a group of people rather than 1. They can't screw over atleast 10 people on transactions over 1 server now can they.

Yeah i donated $280 all together. Im praying i get this money back. It's sad how much i believed in this server and how much i donated, only to get ****** over. This was the only private server i've ever enjoyed because it was "classic" and actually had over 100 players online daily. Looks like my conquer days are going to finally come to end. Well, until the next good classic server comes out.

Thanks for putting all this information out there. I've been trying to figure out all day what happened to the server and their website.

I'd make a classic server again since now I know I won't get ddos but it sucks doing things alone. I'll probably join a server and contribute that I see is fit for my experience lol. For now, Love2Hate isn't a bad server, try it out. I'm pretty sure most of the true classic players will be heading there or to renegade.

SO is my computer now infected? If so how do I fix this. I have deleted every trace of True Classic on my computer. I also just found out that they were using my connection for that ddoser thing. It's sad that True Classic would stoop that low. My providers had me believed that my modem was broken and having ym parents spend money for something that wasnt broken. I will be looking to file a dispute for my money back on paypal. It's a shame

Just delete the client folder and shortcuts in the startmenu if there is any.

Please search your computer and remove all instances of TCAntibot....and uninstall their whole trueclassic while your at it.

Check True Classic\c3\effect\601289
C:\windows\system32
C:\Users\YOUR NAME HERE\AppData\Roaming

If you find it in any other places please post here. You can also try running the Task Manager. Going to "Processes" and look for "TCAntiBot.exe" on the list. Right click on it and go to Open File Location. End the process and remove the file.

Do that to remove the botnet.
