Looks like there going to be another e-war going on. This kinda reminds me of when hybrid started doing bots for renegade. This is worse though. About 3-4 decents programmers against true classic. I'd say the difference is Kris is just very short tempered and doesn't realize the consequences of his actions early enough.
Like I said Evan and Stigs, Kris can't do anything or hack like he says. He has Chris (stealarcher) do everything.
The first thing he is probably going to do is spam the register page with accounts.

Speaking of powerrangers, anyone started watching them on netflix? I finished the first season. It gets very repetitive though. I seemed more interesting when I was 5 years old.

Lol they say they haven't done anything ("no offense back at you") but they have attacked our VPS. If they deny it then w.e but I know for a fact its true .

I know this because he did this to me after I made a classic server after I was booted off. First the register page spam until I added captcha and then some kind of packet attack that lagged the webhost. I doubt it was a ddos since the vps was fine.

All of said 'hacks' mentioned- are not usable on Love2Hate. Perhaps at one point while we were testing out different security methods but I assure you we take every precaution possible to derail any 'cheating' attempts.

I respect True Classic, their player base and what all of the 'devs' there have done to make it what it is. I just question their 'hosts' morales and the way they do things aside from server work. True classic is over a year old now? Love2Hate just over 2 weeks- and yet we have an average online player base of 50 players which is pretty cool.

I think it should be noted, that we are not trying to 'compete' with TrueClassic. All servers offer a unique experience in their own way. We are (I believe [but could be wrong])- the only EU "classic" server out there. Or at least we try to be as classic as we can be- without conforming to retarded standards (dropping 10k cps per mob or mirroring co 2.0.. Why??). TC is it's own game- and in its own league. We just take our own ideas, friends and hard work and try to offer an alternative european experience.

As far as the lag goes- we are only on a VPS at the moment and unfortunately have been subject to quite a few petty DDOS attacks for no reason. As fast as the VPS is, it's not going to be lag free with those kind of variables unfortunately. Dedicated hosting is expensive- and we simply don't have the funds, donations or player base to upgrade to such hosting yet.

The aim of L2H is simple. Give people a fun, retard-free gaming experience. Do I consider it a work of art? No. Do I think I'm some kind of elite coder? Heck no. Do I think it will be 'the most popular server in the world'.. Definitley not.. But, when all is said and done- the people like it. I like it- and it serves a perfect home to our player base until we have time to work on our C# source.

To each their own- and good luck finding a server that suits you.

You guys are competition to me; I did this by myself without consulting the rest of L2H staff first. Seriously though, if I hadn't done this, I think that, over time (if not already), the quality of our server would have far surpassed yours... I just wanted to speed up the inevitable demise of your server. Plus, I really don't like you guys, although I commend you for somehow lasting this long.

What Evan, Martin and Neal do is kind of their business... As much as I'd love- I can't control them as my personal minions to attack people... Your host obviously ****** them off in 1 way or another.. After only speaking with him a few times (Kris I believe?) I can't say I blame them for taking a dislike.
