Let me guess the outdated proxy was nproxy?
In that chase this is a new but same creator, unknown who did make the bananasplit command that made u drop all equips.
As well the first version of this proxy was cheaked at level 2 at elitepvp and it was clean.

The story goes like this:
I downloaded CID during spring break, used it got about 12 levels added to my character and a total of almost 40 mets.. but i take 6 days off to work on my Private Server. i decide to play conquer again to brainstorm on ideas. to my suprise CID doesnt work. im at the portal near the mine caves im missing one of my elite 2 socket hammers, and my loved elite ring, but it left all my other stuff alone... weird. I have a sister i kinda blamed her for a couple hours... becuase she uses my email to make her accoutns. Ive bought alot off DBs with my main so i thought i'd send a complaint to TQ(i hate them, they havent sent anything back) Then i looked for a new proxy. i found one with everything that CID Had.. it was outdated but they posted their proxy adresss. i clicked on it to see whats up. i forgot what it said but it exactly but it was a scam and it was Signitured with "~CID". ive never been the kind of person to blow up and blame people so i wonder if anyone else had this problem. please brainstorm with me and come up to a conclusion. Offtopic: Also... TQ should really keep a log on their DB Buyers like keep a database of all past trades and people youve traded with. just incase this shit happened... i'mplementing that on my Private Server and that would really help

Back On Topic: Yea... Anyway i could care less please ignore all these complaints i'm wiling to forget about this just get the proxy up and running! Im a fan of you guy's proxy.

lol i never lost a thing my friend turned me into GM and i was sent to BJ lol
also for recording the trades would be useless we do have to ability to DROP items unless you want to search through a huge log of dropped items such as, gold sycee potions trash and yadda yadda. So i hope you get my point.

Well, for an update, I remade a C++ proxy, which right now works, by only transmitting encrypted packets (basically useless - for now), we're trying to figure out just what the **** is getting sent/received during the first 2 packets
There is a ~350 size packet sent to client, which initiates the client, and it replies to the server with a packet half the size - possibly openssl keys, or certificates. So now we're trying to see what those new packets are for... their way to big to be for normal game communications

edit: as i suspected, its the handshake between client-server, will see if I can somehow decrypt the key now, and create my own reply
oh.. and at this point, me and caff are the only ones who are still working on it (on epvp)

learning a computer language just the basics takes time...
and at what lvl he is will probly take someone who never did anything like that for a long long time to learn and its not just reading and understanding it you start off making small projects and then when u get the hang of it try harder ones, etc. its easier if u already know a computer language cuz they all got something in common just a bit different lay out and so

if its something easy it would take a few mins/seconds to do, the handshaking from client-server thing is the hard thing if he gets that done i think the proxy would be up and running again..i hope lol
