Welcome to online gaming forums. Just because someone claims it's undetected (and even if it is) doesn't mean it's not infected with some kind of trojan. It's really easy to hide, encrypt or obfuscate apps these days to be completely undetectable (at least for a few weeks).
Best bet is to always go with open source software and compile it your self if possible (or get the bins if it's a trustworthy project)
