I hope that everything works out well.

Well a lot of people run on VPS so it's worthless to them. They're losing money in general. :P

Since you are a 'computer expert' I'm sure you know this, but no file is deleted unless you do a secure erase. Those take hours and completely wipe the hdd with 0s and 1s. You can basically recover any file as long as you remember the exact name. Install a new HDD, use your old hdd as an external and bring back your files. Use another computer to copy whatever sources down since the virus may have infected those files. But again, you were probably smart to back it all up.

People should scan their computers regularly anyway, but you never know how dumb people can be. Just throwing out the suggestion. Let me rephrase it so more botters will do it:

Simply said, yes it will be back but no one cna tell how long it will take. Most important atm for Dean is to recover all his files.
