I would like to give a big thank you to the "people" (we both know who you are) who were/are attempting to connect flood our Authorization Server. During this period, we were trying to find out how the attack was effecting the AuthServer the way it was, and during that time we spotted a serious error that we may never have spotted otherwise. You may actually have done more damage by leaving us alone. I love Irony. Now, I wonder who would have motive to attack us like that in the first place? Nothing comes to mind, I thought every one loves us. I've certainly not seen anyone posting here with unjustified negativity, aggression and animosity... It's baffled me totally.

Also, I would like to give a sincere thanks to our many subscribers. Thanks to you COM will continue to get better and better. And to Korvacs, who helped us identify and fix a serious memory leak and CPU load error.

I didn't saw anyone from bco criticizing,advertising,talking nonsense,acting childish and non professional and so on.

Would you consider bot-netting an auth server childish?? Not that I'm saying BCO were doing that, just a general question.

Childish or not, un-professional or not, the way we act is irrelevant. No one gets anywhere in this world being a nice guy, that's just a simple fact. You can say whatever you want about mayfair or me, it doesn't change ANYTHING.

And people who use bots are not concerned with the idiosyncrasies of the people who develop them, they are far more interested in the bot itself and its functions, and on that subject, ours simply speaks for itself. If it were a pile of ****, then no one would be subscribing, spending time and effort on trying to dis-credit it and flood the **** out of the auth server. All of your negative comments speak a thousand un-heard words and it's funny that you don't realise that.

So if a troll battle is all you are interested in, then fine, i concede, you win. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to withdraw the next load of PayPal payments.

lol im not defending the childishness of everyones arguing, but lol u cant say they arent capable of understanding u when the line above it u say u dont even know what a DoS attack is :P altho to be honest my guess would be it would have been a brute force attempt rather than a dos, but only they know if it was a ping or summit more complicated

And my posts weren't related to programming or other stuff like that, i think they should be capable of understanding...

I have no idea what has happend but it probably wasn't an DoS attack, Probably just flooding account login connections to the auth server or something. DoS attacks aren't that effective unless you have like zombie armies.

Yeh noryx, we'll continue to embarrass ourselves, and continue to develop the best CO bot (that's my opinion btw, just in case Korvacs wants to make one of his "you can't make that claim" replies) and continue constantly taking subscriptions.

DoS = Denial Of Service. It is any form of attack on a network service designed to stop it functioning. Seeing as this was clearly the intention as the connections were being made and instantly dropped, no attempt to access the login procedure was made so it couldn't have been a BF. There wasn't enough IP addresses for it to be a DDoS, so it was a DoS attack. And a failed one at that as my dynamic firewall system screwed them completely. So i guess that just makes it a S attack. Trust me I know what the terms mean, I've was into this kinda thing when most of you kids were being spawned in your dad's *******.

Yes, why? Most of them were http proxies, as you probably would have guessed. A script or app to do this with a multi-proxy list wouldn't take long to do.

If that's the best they can do however, then lol..
