All the have to do is check the file signature. What they're doing isn't ticket science. As soon as you release it publicly or they get their hands on a private build, they can just block it. I also wouldn't tempt them with "their anticheat isn't on", because they have more invasive driver based anticheats they could enable. Their anticheat is already super invasive... I'd never play a game from them. It's a privacy nightmare.

It became alot less invasive when they had to comply with some data law. Client still sends hwids mac and stuff but to a dead server
