also, more info to help me figure this out -
it worked fine while i was at home, on this same computer, with the win2k version, even though im on winXP it was the only version that worked.

Win2k version of copartner is the only version that work for WindowXP SP1. For other version listed above the Win2k is for WindowXP SP2 users.

still no dice....
i updated to sp2, tried CO partner and the alt, neither get past clicking 'ok'
i strongly suspect this has something to do with copartner trying to access a port, being denied, then shutting down because of this. can anyone confirm that copartner needs port access???
i've been trying to get this to work for several days now, and nothing is seeming to work. im running out of ideas.
once again:
*win XP sp2
*worked fine at home
*now im at school, doesnt work
*school has restricted ports, unless requested access
*i run TQprogram, little screen pops up with all the ****, i hit OK.
*proccess terminates.
rinse, lather, repeat.
no matter what i try it doesnt work. can anyone offer any help here?
i would very much appreciate it
if you need any more info to help solve this problem, just ask
