I agree, you'd be surprised how fast they ban accounts if you use garbage cheats, sometimes bans happen manually account by account, so when you post a ban report dev and other people will say skill issue or you used another provider etc.. little did they know it’s a cheat detection, and sometimes you are banned with the ban wave.

Long story short it’s not necessary a ban wave hits a provider to call them detected.

I've been on the same account since lockdowns and have not been permanent banned yet on it. Shadow bans are an issue though, but permanent bans I've actually not experienced yet. Last time I got perm banned was back in the rage days of Verdansk when EO would get hit once a season.

And no, Ricochet is trash - its no where near the same level as modern kernel anti-cheats. Any anti-cheat can detect any cheat they want, we know this from the PunkBuster days when EvenBalance (the shittest anti-cheat in history) could still detect whatever they wanted to if they put in manual effort. For a billion dollar company it makes no sense why so much of their anti-cheat is in usermode when they have their own kernel driver. If you notice, the ones getting hit are the ones who don't prepare their cheat properly after an update.

Let's also not forget the laughable seasonal blogs that mention the same anti-cheat changes time and time again yet worded differently. I mean, how many times have they mentioned their AI and demo reviewing now..? That's been the case since MW3.

If they want to detect you, they can do it. Even Valve can do that and their anti-cheat is entirely user-mode and server-side. When I'm talking about Ricochet being trash, I'm not talking about them going out of their way to manually reverse and blacklist cheats/drivers, I'm talking about their generic scans.

I can agree with you though if you think Ricochet is on the road to being better. They've certainly stepped up their game this season. Will it last though? That's what we need to wait and see.

HelioS calls Ricochet an empty shell of an anti-cheat. I take his word on it since he deals with the most volatile anti-cheats on the market. Again, this season a lot has changed but lets see if they continue their efforts.

CSGO cheats have been doing this for years, even doing invite-only cheats as well. Nonetheless, its annoying. Does anyone know what cheat I should use if hypervision is not available?

What I really liked most was how you could customize each gun type (pistol, smg, ar, sniper) so if any other cheat has this I'd be good with that and the in-game map radar if possible but that's just a neat bonus.
