You don’t need to spend a lot of money. I bought a bundle from mavisdma and it only costed $250. The bundle included an HDMI fuser, makcu, and their premium 75t dma. It came with all necessary cables. The fuser is a dichen 5th gen and is capable of 1k @ 240 hz, and 2k @ 144hz. I run on 1k and it works very well. I already own a second pc and it’s a gaming laptop so I get very good dma speeds. For your second pc, you can just get a mini pc with at least 4 cores, 8gb ram, etc. (a lot of people recommend the N95 on Amazon). Mavisdma vouched for shillette regarding the firmware, and so did a lot of other people I spoke to. So I went with their lifetime standard tier which covers the following AC’s: ACE, BE, EAC, Ricochet (basically every fw does). I don’t plan to play games with other AC’s so this lifetime firmware will work perfectly for me. People may call me crazy for buying a fw for EAC, however ekknod most likely will not work forever so I’d rather use a fw that’s 1:1 and also has a lifetime warranty (as long as I’m using the same dma board). In total I spent $450 and have not had an issue since (about a month in so far).
