I agree with you for the most part. Externals can still be tapped over night if Activision wanted to hit them.
On a technical level though, externals are definitely safer. Been in the P2C scene since 2010 and externals always last longer.
However, that does not mean they’re undetectable. They can be detected just like an internal, the only difference is they’re not writing to the games memory and changing things.
The truth is, if Ricochet wanted to detect the external market, there is nothing stopping them. Only their laziness and lack of experience is what keeps everyone safe.
I’d go as far to say that all internals that get hit are targeted detections anyway. EO, AA, Interwebz all got detected because Ricochet wanted to target them. They lack so much experience compared to EAC and BattlEye that targeted detections is all they can do.
There is a reason EO gets hit non-stop. They’ve actually got a very talented team but no amount of talent is going to stop them from being the biggest target.
This is why closed off internal cheats that seem to be coded by monkeys still last forever and have no issues. Because they aren’t known to Ricochet. Of course if they’re using a blocker they’ll get detected though.
For example, if ProofCore was internal they would still be undetected since release due to their closed off community.
And an external isn’t going to be anymore safer if it’s publicly available like SyntheticSkill (slot based so that’s a bit better) Mobius, Gator/PO. Although PO is a bit different since they have a kill switch, so that’s probably a game changer for them.
