For BE EAC and especially ricochet it will be years before they detect Even Basic Firmware. Let alone custom Firmware. Only anti cheats that actually focus on DMA are faceit. And vanguard. More so faceit than vanguard. As faceit don’t care to false ban people. So they can be more aggressive

2 things that not the DMA getting u ban it’s your **** temp spoofer.

And second it’s pointless running a DMA using a temp spoofer that defeat the whole purpose of DMA. If your hwid ban use a perm spoofer perm spoofers can’t get Detected

Take the time to read the September 1st policy update. It doesn't outright say DMA, but this is one of many things they added.

Unsupported Peripheral Devices and Applications
Any user who utilizes an unsupported external hardware device or application to interact with the game and use for cheating is subject to penalty. Unsupported peripheral devices and applications include, but are not limited to, modded controllers, IP flooders, and lag switches.

Minor offense: User may be temporarily suspended from playing the game online, have their stats and emblems reset and have their leaderboard entries deleted.
Extreme or repeat offenses: User may be permanently suspended from playing the game online, have their stats and emblems reset, and be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.

DMA stands for direct memory access.
DMA setup is expensive and complicated. If done right chances of ban becomes near to zero unless you get manaully reviewed by anticheat.
You will need two pc if you want to use DMA cheat. You have to install DMA card in primary pc and connect it to second pc using USB cable. You will also need custom framework for DMA so you dont get detected. I could be wrong but this is what i found about dma cheats.

That's just wrong. EAC has basic DMA detection for Rust that only started a few months ago. Rust always gets these changes and new detections first. Eventually it'll probably roll out to other EAC games that have the highest tier of subscription such as Apex Legends.

Its not impossible for any kernel anti-cheat to detect DMA, its just a lot more difficult.
