steam wont let me refund due to the ban on file. Anyone able to get around this?

You will be given time. My brother used engineowning on warzone a month ago and got permabanned, played the beta for 5 hours last night and was perma banned there this morning...

Chargeback with bank is only way and even that might not work...really not fair how you are cross banned on a different game.

I was SB on WZ i bought a 13 year old steam account bought the Vault edit and i been playing MW2 for 10hrs.


I have no clue why people are getting SB i on my main account i can play Vanguard MP fine on my main even tho i have 2 accounts that are SB.

i have be playing for 11.3 hrs now and still fine on steam, if ur using the same email on ur SB account then it's ur dumb fault for the SB lol

just like on previous releases, bans typically reset when the full game goes live - NOT the beta.

no one is going to have the same experience - for example, a few hundred people in my community that are hwid banned have been shadow banned on mw2 beta, while a few hundred that have been hwid banned on mw19 and wz are not (including myself).

i've tried to test on 2 dozen hwid banned accounts and i have not had a single permanent ban on mw2, only shadow bans, and only 6 out of 27 accounts.

ricochet is not adjusted for mw2 (per ricochet dev tweet), atm it is the same as mw19 and wz, so it is possible this will change, but nobody knows who will be affected by their past bans.

This is my theory. If you were HWID banned during the first year of the release of Warzone, your HWID ban will not carry over. Everyone I know that purchased the game on steam, and even used the same old account that was banned previously are fine. Again this is only accounts that were 2+ years old.

Now accounts that were HWID banned during the release of Richochet, seem to be shadowed, and the ban has carried over. Being that these accounts were on fresh PC's, I believe Richochet will only carry this ban over since the release of the Anti-Cheat.

Being that the older account HWID's were never grabbed by Richochet, the Bans aren't carrying over. Would love to get feedback on this theory from the community. Wishing everyone the best of luck with this new Cod Release.

this was conducted in my tests and concluded to not be true.

2 of the accounts i used that were banned in the first EO wave have been shadowed in mw2.

I was banned as well. I bought the game on battle net and i got perm banned the next morning.. Only played for two hrs..

Yesterday i bought Sync Spoofer (One-Use).

I used it and i played a couple of matches in Warzone (1), normally if i was HWID Banned, in the morning i would log in and see that the account is banned, but now, it's not. I can normally play.

The best way of playing the game is to use a permanent spoofer, and stop using cheats. It's not worth it!

P.S: I'll get back with news tonight, if i will still be able to play, it's 100% that Sync Perm. Spoofer works perfectly.
