Question about Cold War Bans

I was recently banned for having super high stats on my main account. I did not inject any cheats into the account only joined lobbies hosted by friends that are not banned at this point. Since I did not inject any cheats would that mean it is not a hwid ban and just an account ban?

Note : Ban message is as normal "Account has been permanently banned".

HWID bans are extremely rare for Activision/Treyarch.

If it’s your first ban you’re definitely not HWID’d.

I had the same as the OP, i bought a new Account and bought CW again. Got almost instantly banned i was able to play like 1 hour then i went to sleep and in the morning my new acc was banned again.
And it was my First ban.

Who did you use that got you HWID banned?
Also, buying accounts really isn't the best idea and they often mass create under the same ID's.

I dont know anymore it was a 15 Min vouch round.
You mean it could be a Problem with the Account i bought?

It's pretty rare for them to HWID ban someone for a first time. However, I have seen three instances where it is more likely -

(1) You use a provider that has been detected multiple times, such as EngineOwning.

(2) You are using multiple cheats in a short timespan.

(3) You buy an account from a bad batch of accounts. To elaborate on this - sometimes account sellers will throw in a mix of cracked accounts, as well as ones they have created, using the same means continuously. They may use the same PC, the same IP, the same email generator, etc. This occasionally causes a buyer to become HWID banned without having cheated at all.

I typically recommend people make their own accounts using a cellphone internet plan.

see im seeing mixed comments, and it worries me, because this is my first ban in CoD history i was being stupid and was using a program and got banned, it wont let me in game on Cold War, but i can go into WarZone with that account and my level and everything is the exact same, its only my battle net account that says on launcher, this account is banned. So if i make a new account and buy Cold War again, am i able to play without the worry of being out the money of buying the game a second time?

You won’t be out of money as long as you buy the game through Blizzard’s store. You can refund it if you are HWID banned and unable to play.

However, keep in mind, you will most likely be shadowbanned on a new account for 7-14 day’s.

Additionally, you need to clean all of your tracers before making and buying a new license.

Now i made a restore point on my pc piror to downloading those files, i just reset my computer to those reset point, that should have gotten rid of the tracers correct?

I had recently purchased Ring-1 for a month. I then restarted and it said my new account was perm banned. I had charged back for the new account. I can still go on warzone on my main account but banned on cold war. It has now been about 14 days since I was banned and I'm wondering if theirs anything I can do to fix it so that I can go online without getting banned instantly. I dont want to buy another account then for it to get banned again. What are the things that are required to fix this?

Have you played since the permanent ban? If not, you need to make a new Warzone account and play a few games. You'll most likely be shadowbanned, but if not, you'll be fine to play again.
