Beware of Servers That Prioritize Profit Over Players
It’s becoming painfully obvious that some so called “server owners” are not here to build a lasting, quality experience for players, but rather to open server after server in an attempt to maximize profits.
Let’s take a look at the pattern:
First, it was NeoGames (neogames.online).
Then came Ascension (ascension.gg).
After that, Imperio (imperio.gg).
And now, they’re working on yet another server: Cabal Exile.
They claim to offer quality, but how can they provide a stable and well managed experience when the same person behind these projects keeps jumping from one server to the next? Worse still, the administration has now decided to target the European community viewing it as just another easy market for their cash grab schemes. Yet they have little to no real understanding of what European players actually need or expect.
The language barrier is another major issue. They struggle to communicate even in proper English, which makes it difficult to deliver the quality experience they so confidently promise. If they couldn’t manage their past servers properly, what makes anyone think they can suddenly succeed in Europe?
This isn’t about building a sustainable, player focused environment. It’s about launching server after server, milking the hype, squeezing out what they can from the community, and then disappearing when the player base starts to fade. Don’t be fooled by the polished marketing, history has already shown us what to expect.
Choose your server wisely. Support those who genuinely care about the game and its players, not those who treat it like a short term business venture.
As one of the oldest community, we can’t just sit back and watch while certain individuals take advantage of players. We launched our server yesterday, and since day one, they’ve been trying to attack us. Cabal World has been around for 15 years with a single Episode 8 server and only now have we opened a new one for Episode 33. All Episode 8 players will be migrated to the new server over time. No one is being left behind.
We’re not sending this message to convince you to join our server. That’s not the goal. We simply want to help you make informed decisions and avoid being misled. Stay vigilant and think carefully about the servers you choose to support.
Below, we’ve attached an image showing our monitoring system and proof of how they’ve already started trying to interfere, while we are focused on delivering the best content for the ones that will follow.
