Depends on player, lazy people and creative people.
Lazy people likes to play on server with high rates, and creative people likes to play on low rates(More challenging). I didn't say that I want to play a server with high rates, or did I?
Ok, the game may had worth millions, but the server files may have worth 5 k. And they may be greedy...(Also those estsoft). And they should know that hackers can bypass the the firewall and steal those server files,( if they dare...uhm like 1337?xD)
Look at all those other private server(mmorpg games and others games). So, they got private server, aaaand the community still going well, alot of players still play on the original one. Hah, like Yesman or whatever his name is, he is selling the Server Files, and it will spread around on the forum and net. And then people will release the Server Files for free and make a guide how to create one private server.. Cabal staff can't protect the game 100%. There is always a hole there, atleast 1 BUG!

Ok imagine that you are playing at a server there maximum lvl is 100. And the server has keep going on like 4 years. And the results of the highest player lvl there is 23. How boring would that be? Ok, i overdrove abit. But that was just an example O_O
And about this, you have to buy to get those premium item. If you are 10 or 13 years old. And you don't have paypal, that would be unfair. But you have to deal with it.
But with private server you can get it for free( In the future....)
Im lazy self. And do you know what? i spent 3k minute to reach to lvl 39. See,I just wasted a lot of time. And thats why its soooo damn boring. yeah, then you would maybe say, it's because you are lazy! Exactly that's one of the reason why private server exist!
And there is other reason private server exist, here is 1 more example. The admin wants money , so he/she makes a private server to earn money by the players who paid for the premium items.
And privat server can also have low rates O_o, maybe low rates but 10 points per lvl , who knows? The future decide's it...
Edit: hehe, correct me if im wrong, you play privat server too? Because you made a thread with 2 privat server. There you go... you got nothing too say. Why do you write all this stuff when you play at a private server self. Doesn't make any sense if you play at a privat server and complain that why people play at a privat server when Cabal is FREE.
Ok let be at your side at the moment. You said that if more private server exist players will leave the original one. Hah, even so, you brought up those two private server. So its your fault too. Then stop complain when you wont insist what you did wrong O_O
