Using TSearch

The first problem when playing Cabal Online, is that you can't Alt-Tab out of the game to using basic hacking tools like TSearch.

What you need to do is force the game into a Windowed Mode.

To accomplish this, download "3DAnalyzer". I've attached a link:

(Or you can do a Google search, and grab this from an alternative location. There are newer versions available via torrent.)

When using the app, select CABAL.EXE, click on "Force Windowed Mode" and click Run. Before launching set your desktop to 1024x768 or high, and while in game, set the game resolution to 800x600. The game will still try to switch back-and-forth when you Alt-Tab, however if you're quick enough you can place entries into TSearch.

I was able to add 9,999 to my Inventory box and as I subtracted/added funds to it, the value actually changed! However, when I started removing amounts that were too large, the connection dropped and I had to reconnect to the server.

I doubt simple things like money and experience points can be changed (as this data is all server side), so playing with TSearch will require some experimentation. Teleportation will definately be possible. Skill points maybe as well?

During these Closed Beta sessions, they're currently have no means to detecting hacks however something will be released soon. I'd recommend that you start testing this out as soon as possible.

Also, does anyone know of a tool that can be used with this that will prevent the window from constantly becoming active? If you pause the window, it won't jump back, however you risk the chance of disconnecting from the server.

Anyhow - hope that helps as a first step for using TSearch ingame.

For me it dont work! If more than 4 Players say it works, the topic will be still opened, if it dosnt work the topic will gettin closed.

What kind of problem were you having by the way?

Launching the 3DAnalyzer? Or did the "Force Windowed Mode" not work?

Or did you mean that changing stats ingame didn't work?

Well i load the cabal exe, click that windowed force mode on, run the game about the programm. THen the game start in Window mode (anything right till there). Than TSearch is started, but when I try to change ingame the brightness to 800x600, still cant use TSearch, becouse its that fast it drop down and come up again...looks like less than 1 second O_o.

Yeah, that's what the game does automatically (I added a note in my original message if anyone knew of a way to prevent that.) When the application detects that is has been deselected, and another window is made active, it immediately makes the Cabal.exe window active again. (I'm hunting around for an application that will prevent this type of behaviour - it's a simple logical statement that can be prevented and I remembered seeing a Visual Basic app a while back that will prevent this.)

Anyhow - what I did in the meantime was: move really really fast. =]

Move the TSearch window to the bottom-right-corner, jump to it and there's just enough time to select with a mouse and enter one number at a time. Because the numbers you'll be tracking are so small (ie, money for testing, maybe skill points and other things), it shouldn't take you too long to put into TSearch (although it's really annoying with the swapping back-and-forth.)

I'm doing some more testing with it right now - and I'll update the post if I learn anything new. It works, but it requires a lot of patience. =]

Regarding TSearch:

Seeing how it's your usual Korean style MMO (but **** does it look good) - refer to other Korean based MMOs and what people have managed to do with TSearch.

Most likely, you won't find much in terms of client side memory hacking, but maybe things like land->river = no cross can be nopped (so you can travel anywhere on the map w/out the "invisible wall")

I think that you just have to change something in the client that you can mini the window of the game....but I cant hex lanuage than I would do it

If I add Money (Address: 1330F90) the Money changes (Start: 400 + 1000), but if i wanna buy something for 1200 I will disconnect from Server and my Money changes back to 400 if I login and I dont got the thing I wanted to buy!!!

You can try to change Walkspeed, Attackspeed, Skillchanging or Questchanging like in WoW :O

Yeah, those traits are the most useful. Most information/data is stored on the server side, so you can't just "Level Up" your character by modifying your local client. However, you can bend some rules like your walk speed.

The most useful ability is Teleporting. I recall seeing some tutorials on how to use TSearch as a Teleport Hack, but I haven't found any posts in regards to it on elitepvpers.com.

You could use TSearch to teleport yourself in small increments, and possibly use it to evade monster attacks. For example, use a long-range character to kill high-level monsters while you keep teleporting or simply "float" in the area by adjusting your coordinates.

That is the most useful process for levelling-up your character as quickly as possible.

I'm doing some more experimentation with TSearch, and I'll let you know if anything useful pops up. My primary focus will be adjusting my characters' X,Y,Z coordinates - as I've pretty much tested everything else.
