Well I still haven't figured out how to dmg hack. There's a lot of things I'm confused of because a lot people are saying that they made dmg hack using "this/that"
Well to break down my understanding:
There are 3 ways to dmg hack: (I'm ruling out WPE PRO from what I heard from NovaCygni)
1. Using Cabal Bot + Cheat Engine (OLD DMG HACK)
In this method, I think they were referring to the dmg hack done in private servers via bracelet/earring hack, stacking its effects.
the requirements to do this hack in private servers:
- have an honour below the desired earring/bracelet to equip
- have 3pcs of the same type of earring/bracelet
if you do this hack now in the official servers, changing your honour rank to a higher level like 11 will make the unequippable status of the item(covered in red) to disappear. But once you equip it, you will automatically be disconnected.
maybe they found a way to equip a bracelet/earring without being disconnected, but how?
2. Using Cabal Bot + Cheat Engine + ??? (BLOCK CLIENT SENDING PACKETS)
This is the method that NovaCygni suggested in doing the dmg hack.
Basically what we need to do is search for the unequip packet, then block your client from sending the unequip packet. and there's some other stuff like sending another packet but i don't know what it is. So when all goes well, the servers reads it as "Equips item, Equips item, Equips item etc" then the effects stacks up, from i've read from Nova's post.
The method looks easy but the question remains:
- what tool to use to search for the unequip packet? Cheat Engine?
- i used wpe pro to look for the unequip packet, i found it and filtered it but sadly it is encrypted and im afraid to send it back to the server, fearing i might get banned instantly.
- What tool to use to block our client from sending the unequip packets back to the server?
- Lastly, what is this other packet we need to send? modify the packet that used to be the unequip packet and change it to being an equip packet?
3. Make your own Private Server
Previous posts suggested that we make our private server. Through the use of korean/chinese cabal client.
We make our own private server, change the ip to cabal eu/ph/sea whatever so that it will update and connect to the official server.
to my understanding, we need to change the stat of bracelets? since we have our own private server, we can easily change bracelets/earrings attributes/requirements and theoretically other weapons/items as well.
so doing that, we already editted the packet that will be sent to the main server? if so using wpe pro, proxy will not be needed anymore.
4. WPE PRO (Useless? and can get you banned for sending raw/unencrypted packets as NovaCygni said)
My brain's about to explode from all of this, haven't slept quite well because I was thinking about this all the time.
So any one out there who made the dmg hack work help us out here? You don't have to tell us exactyle step by step on what to do, just point us to the right direction and possibly give us more concrete clues.
