Trade/Mail Logs?

Hey guys

Does anyone know if Cabal logs all trades?

Like "Player X bought item Y from Player Z and paid *** alz"?

AH and Personal Shop?

And the same for Mail System, do the mails get saved seperately?

"Player X sent mail to Player Y with the following content: ..."

Would use alot of space for logfiles I guess, but I have seen this in another MMO, so I just wanna make sure.

P.S.: I tried google, but I'm not sure how to search for my question, I couldn't find anything really.

Yes. Every item has a unique ID and can be traced back to where it was dropped.

So there would be a risk that the main account (clean acc without hacks) would get banned too, if I drop an item to the ground (with unclean acc) and pick it up?

If they track the item IDs ofcourse.

But I don't think admins will usually do this, as it would cost alot of time doing that for every ban I guess, only the risk is there.

****, and here I though I could happily farm with subaccs and mail/drop everything to mainacc

For Private Servers it is more risky I guess, less players needed to check...

How about Alz, I guess a mail with Alz is saved in the logs as well? Or from a trade?

You got 2 PCs or a good friend? If so, put the item in the AH at a low price and just buy it fast.

I used to sell alz through the mail system to make the trade more safe for my costumers and it worked out just fine. I usually wrote something like: "Here is the alz I owe you" or "Here is the share from the EoX+8 drop".

To track an item ID you need access to the big admin tool. In the cases I know it's restricted to Community Manager (CM) or Game Administrators. A simple GM usually has no access to it.

On the other hand if you are a "fair player" buying an item through a regular trade/personal shop/AH I think it will not be adequate to punish you in any way. Because you can't simply determine if the purchased item was farmed using fair play or by using cheats.

One last question, do You know if they also keep track of IPs?

Like which IP logged in with Account X ?

So You could see Account X dropped Item Y, Account Z picked Item Y up.
X + Z have same IP, X used hacks and Z not - both banned in that case I guess?

My seller account just got blocked somehow. I didnt use any hacks or bypass on that account, just selling my items which i earned from hacking around.
Asked GMs why did i get blocked, shape text came... using 3rd party program.
