Hi @ll,
There are a program for open the .efx files of the skills?
I want to open and see the skills in this folder (Games-Masters.com\CABAL Online (Europe)\Data\FX\EFX\Skill)
Is it possible?
Ty, Daniele
EDIT: in this video, at 3mins, this guy has opened the skill files... or not?
I need program for opening or viewing .EFX files too ... i search on google and now im up to page 35. I can't find solution. Obviously there is such a program look at the video:
That is a special map for GMs i guess, like a test map(they have also a black one for costumes and stuff). If you would open .efx files you won't see the whole char moving, just skill's graphic.

Iwant just to open it ... i dont need to see the charecter or thing like that i want to see the animation. But so far i didnt find anything
Force Blader Skills:
skil_1h_058.efx -- Force Blader Completer Skill
skill_1h_054 -- Force Blader A.Master Skill
Force Shielder Skills:
skil_1h_057.efx -- Force Shielder Storm Rush
skill_1h_057.efx -- Force Shielder Completer Skill
skill_1h_053.efx -- Force Shielder A.Master Skill
These are all the skills that i have found out yet...im not sure of the blader/force blader/force shielder/warrior skill names though...because im wizard myself and ive never played with those chars...post file names and skill names that YOU know to improve this list...i hope this helps...
for another skills and buffs you can rename them with lances/cannons and try in game(like 10 skills/buffs at time)

Yeah i change skills , but i want not to experiment with them ... i need COMPLETE list of all skill's , mobs , weapons ... basically list for all .efx files and because i didn't find something like that i ask for program which does not even exist.
btw: I need all kind of scripts , programs etc. for editing Cabal files ... i have only Photoshop CS3 addon for opening .dds files (icons , things like that)

Don't be lazyass...no1 will do your work. You are the one who want to know/learn about that.
Originally, I was planning on completely recoding Mr. Paint, but I haven't had the time to do it. So, I'm releasing Mr. Paint, in it's current form, as a beta. Only a few textures can be modified, atm (~90), but I will be updating the list frequently. If you have any requests for specific textures, post it here and I'll get right to it. Also, if you find any bugs (there shouldn't be any, as I've thoroughly checked the program), post them here, too. Now, a few quick instructions:
You will need either The GIMP (with a DDS plugin), Photoshop(with a DDS plugin) or Paint.NET to modify the exported textures.
To export a texture, simply select the texture from the list, and click the "Export" button. When exported, Mr. Paint may have inserted "DXT1", "DXT3", or "DXT5" in the texture's filename. If so, you'l need to save the texture in that compression format after modifying it. Also, do NOT change the texture dimensions (ie. if the DDS is 256x512, leave it at that).
To Import a texture, select the texture from the list, click the "Import" button, and locate the modified texture. If you get an error about a "Filesize Mismatch", it means you either didn't save the DDS in the correct compression format, or you changed its dimensions.
The Browse window should be pretty much self-explanatory. When you download a texture(set), they are saved in "$MR.PAINT_DIR/Textures/$TEXTURE_TITLE". For example, if you download the Cobalt Osmium Armourset, it creates a folder called "Textures" (if it doesn't already exist) in the folder that Mr. Paint is in, then it creates a folder called "Cobalt Osmium Armourset" inside the "Textures" folder.
Before submitting a texture(set), make sure you have taken a screenshot of it. When using an image as a preview, try not to make it too large.
Please submit any textures you make, unless an extremely simliar one is already available for download.
P.S. I will, eventually, update Mr. Paint. The update will include the ability to import/export models, replace textures with files that are a different size, and change the glow colour of armour..
