(NA) Cabal X-trap Bypass

[nanashidesu]

I've read several posts about the NA bypass and how it disconnects you every hour because of a CRC check... and I'm interested in figuring how to solve this. It seems like there are some people who already know how...

Anyways, I digress. I've done simple hex editing (searching for changed values etc) for several games, but I've never really done anything like bypassing.

So, I'm just asking if somebody can point me to a guide and the right tools... I'm resourceful and once I'm headed in that direction, I'll eventually figure out things on my own. In return, I'll obviously share anything that I find, I just need that first push.

I've got programming background in C, C++, bit o java, and a bunch of web-related programming.. PERL, Python, PHP etc...

Thanks!

nothing of those programming languages is gonna help you.
you need to know asm.
ollydbg is the only tool you need. there really arent any decent guides for this sort of thing, at least that i know of.+
