yes i tried it and i did it a few times but i need some more experience until i get the full concept.
and no it isn't related to the clip.it's related to object collision and with the object's properties.i could explain in detail but i don't know how to properly explain in "technical" words.
begin by editing some of the objects in cabal (try both monsters and map objects) and you will see some differences, in terms of mesh and some other fancy stuff.just explore.
edit:i came to understand it after using CR and experiencing the WH function in different circumstances.best place to understand it is in IC2 and IC1.you will get it why when you will get there.take notice of the terrain under the character's feet.
edit2: i forgot to mention that in cabal WH is related in ~30% to the game engine managing the cliping.note the way objects "fade" so you can have a better "view"-the algorithm taking care of this has assigns values to all objects that "makes" them solid.when an object "fades", it's value changes.by changing the value to a specific "value" you can wallhack.
now that i said it, put your heads to work and experiment on a defenceless private server.also you will need the correct object names from the client.all you need can be found here on the forum with the help of "HellSpider", "Yamachi" and of course Google.
take care
