Let's see what we know so far :
I assume the other bug is also for damage boosting, and since that guy calls it epaulet method, it's related to epaulets.
Now there are 3 ways how it could work :
1. You boost damage with the epaulet, that would probably mean your HP also increases, since epaulets have +HP stat. So you must find a way to make the game boost your stats if you equip the epaulet again and again.
You obviously can't simply unequip and equip it again, you must do something before equipping it again.
The first idea could be to drop a level while wearing the epaulet, so it becomes red like with the weapon bug. Then after the lvl is dropped, you unequip the epaulet, gain the lvl back, and equip the epaulet again.
This can't work, becouse you cant drop lvls.
Another idea is to use for example an osmium set and osmium epaulet, break the set by removing the chest for example, then remove the epaulet, then equip the chest and finally equip the epaulet. This didn't work for me and I don't even see why should it work.
I have no other idea what you could do, so I assume this is not the way to boost damage.
2. You boost damage by switching epaulets. I don't see any reason why this could work, also made some experiment without any success.
3. You use some other part of your equipment to boost your damage and you do something before equipping it again that concerns your epaulet. I guess this is the winner. Then there must be some relation between the epaulet and the item. The only relation I know is with the chest, but that's only visual.
I'm still trying to come up with some ideas here.
+1 The guy is lying and there are no other bugs or it has nothing to do with epaulets or doesn't work on all server(I've tried EU).
