Yes true, Private servers serve as the training ground for new hacks/cheats development. I can't argue that. Nonetheless, one who have succeed it this will eventually try to or WILL DO IT on retail servers. Till then, that's really fucked up.

This is the case.
1. a player dupes and sell on different accounts. Sells them on cash ($) or trade to something.
2. to spread it, he who knows how to dupe WILL first do #1. (case #1)
3. after doing widespread of duplicated items, he who controls the duplication will most likely monopolize the market.
4. as soon as another one will duplicate or someone knows how to and did case #1.
5. the 1st duper will do something about it. In this case, a Massive widespread of anything - any item that can be duplicated.
6. Now, the server economy is fucked up. All is wearing amp/eof/bof/ or anything that was duped.
7. its already out of hand, Game Masters are now aware of it and that will lead them to do something.
8. Options are: #1. Get it patched asap. #2. Check the database for the ItemIDX and compare ALL items. If they found its dupe, many gets banned.
9. Not only 1 gets banned but ALL who has it will get ban.
10. If they picked that, players will get dismayed and will Join other servers.
11. Option #2. They can have a massive item WIPE for duplicated items. BUT, in that way theres no telling if that Item is dupe or not cause they all share the same ItemIDX.
12. Donors & non donors will most likely suffer this.
13. I rest my case, eventually server will DIE.

This is true, but for now it only work on private server. And for something like dupe, the official server will do something realy fast, and since official server are a lot more populated and economy is going on realy better, it won't kill a official server as fast as a private server, and before that, ESTsoft will do something. Yea, actually good hacker would laugh at ESTsoft, since they would be able to find another way to do it, but at least, this will keep all the noob leecher away.

So just hope nobody with good hacking skill will do some public release of it and it will be fine.

But on private server I don't see anything wrong in abusing of any kind of hack, especially on server with bad staff like Paradox xD

Hypotesis/Explanation of this method (how it work):

First of all it could be done only because of the way the server handle equiping of item which are equiping by "rotation". Ring, Earring and Bracelet equiping that way. First of all, there is a flaw in the dc flag, that happen when you equip by right click an item in those slot. Try on any private server, if you try to equip an item which you lack ONLY ONE REQUIMENT (Honor, OR level. Not both. That's why damage hack from level require you to have the honor rank) in one of these slot. You'll notice that equiping it manually get you DC, but right clicking on it... oh, it work! Basically, that is where stacking came from. Official server made another dc flag to correct this flaw, and that's why BOTH damage/2slot/wathever stacking AND dupe don't work anymore.

Second, the server handle equiping those this way : it will paste the equiped item to first slot, paste the item which was in first slot to 2nd slot and paste item in 2nd slot to the inventory spot where was the item you equiped. So the dupe come from that; you modify Titanium Blade item type to bracelet/ring/earring. Sure, server won't regonise it. My hypotesis is that because of the flaw, you can still equip it. But since it don't regonise it, instead copying Tita data do next slot in the rotation, it will instead paste the item who was there previously: the item you wanted to dupe! Another way it could be is that equiping the blade enable the equiping process but since titanium blade isn't an accessory, won't put anything in the slot. For example you have only one accessory equiped. equiping the titanium blade, the server will equip tita, then paste your first accesory in 2nd slot. but since titanium isn't accessory, it won't put any data in first slot, so your first accessory is still there; so now you have no more titanium blade and 2 accessory instead.

Note : This is my personal understanding of how this dupe method work. If i make an error, please correct me!

But knowing this will maybe help noob to understand more what they are doing and being less noob. Also, knowing this may help ppl to find other thing, other utility for this flaw or instead, other way to dupe, to dupe other item than Bracelet/Ring/Earring

Edit : Added ahother theory for "Second"; don't know which represent better how the server actually handle this.

it doesnt work? now i wonder how the person in cabal ph manage to duplicate astral bikes? (selling it for low prices compared to normal bike price man..) instead of celebrating that you got an astral bike blue, you would know that the price is just low, that hurts... hope that duping items would not be used much because it will do lots of dmg to the economy same as 2 slot hack..

its working in cabalPH as of 8-19-2009 / 6:20 am. I just duped an astral bike. Use soRa engine instead of CE and mithril orb instead of titanium blade. Its case sensitive so type the words correctly,

is the mithril orb non-slotted?
is it u change 05 to 22 in this case? if so, when u change 05 to 22, did u see a stats change to ur mithril orb?

btw, just wonder, do u still need bypass if using sora engine?

I don't see any connection that would make it work on official server if you use soRa engine instead of CE, can you explain in detail why? Basically they do the same thing, its just that AFAIK, soRa engine is a UCE.

which version of sora is uce? 4.5 or 4.6? i scanned 4.5, it contains some trojans, but not 4.6, strange.

6. Now, equip the Titanium Blade by RIGHT-CLICKING ON IT. It should equip the titanium blade to the slot of the item desired to dupe. Now you can also equip more Titanium Blade with right click for more dupe.
7. After a relog, every Titanium Blade that have been equiped over the desired item to dupe and over equiped tita blade (which was alrealy duped but not on your client yet) ARE NOW DUPE OF THE DESIRED ITEM!

i cant provide detailed infos im not tat good in Cabal hacking im good in making wallhacks for Sf. i just read and understand recent posts then do some experiments. i got dc when im using CE so i used Sora engine instead then it works on duping rings, bracelets & earrings but in duping bikes and boards i got dc so i used mithril orb instead of titanium blade then got dc again in my 1st attempt. i did some twist like going to switch char menu after switching mithrill orbs address then freeze it then equip orb and im waiting my char to get DC but after 15 secs it doesnt. i relog then wallah the orb i equipped turn into bike. At first i thought its only a visual bug on my client side so i play at other cafe but its not, its a real astral bike! im scared of vending it in my main account so i trade it with my noob acct then vend it at bloddy ice this afternoon.
