install xammp
load server files
run apache,
edit hosts to enable fakeGG
run cabal on fgg
Step1. Download both XAmmp and server files
step 2. Run Cabal in normal mode (so your gameguard is up to date)
step 3. save your gameguard folder
Step 4. Install Xammp
Step 5. open the downloaded serverfile update from the link given above and extract in this Directory
if you installed xammp on c:\, c:\xammp\htdocs\nProtect\GameGuard\RealServer
If you extracted the server files somewhere else, create the directory Structure above and move the files there.
Step 6. Open Xammp Control Panel and make sure that Apache is running.
Step 7. Verify that you have the proper server installation by typing this in your browser:
You should see the files that you extracted.
Step 8. Editing hosts file.
a. Right-click Notepad and chose RUN as Administrator
b. Press CTRL+O to open document
c. in the filename field, type
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
d. Add/edit the line containing,
127.0.0.1 np.cabal.com.ph
e. To distable fakeGG. repeat Step 8 and change the line into # 127.0.0.1 np.cabal.com.ph
f. Save the file and exit notepad.
Step 9. check if hosts file is working, go to DOS prompt and enter the command,
ping np.cabal.com.ph
An enabled fakeGG will display
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128
A disabled fakeGG will display
Pinging np.cabal.com.ph[123.242.202.139] with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Reply from 123.242.207.202: Destination net unreachable
delete gg folder on your client and replace it with you have downloaded..
