basically it comes down to calling ResumeThread() and SuspendThread() (API functions) on all the threads of a process...simple enough

I found this tool handy because it shows you everything thats going on and it very simple. I have scanned this befor i used it so i can comfirm its safe but feel free to share your scan results with us.
