Release! how to manually turn off prefetch

Tired of deleting Prefetch??

hi every one i found a way how to turn off prefetch just follow guide and to turn it off...

go to run command

type regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SYSTEM
CurrentControlSet
Control
SessionManager
Memory Management
PrefetchParameters

Right-click on both

EnablePrefetcher
EnableSuperfetch

Select Modify on each of these to change the value from 1 (or 3)

to 0

Restart

Enjoy no more prefetch logs hit thanks if it helps

uhm cant find enablesuperfetch on winXP but i find enableprefetch and change value 3 to 0.do you think this will work already?

delete all data files on prefetch folder and run any program you can see if no prefetch logs then i think it works.... try to experiment
