kann mir ma einer helfen...
die datein sind ja in efx format, doch wenn ich die mit photoshop öffnen will kommt das die datei nicht gelesen wird...
wollt mir dan bei google en efx converter ziehn der des auf dds macht
nur leider finde ich da keine kommt immer nur so en mist mit fax dingern

hat da zufällig jemand en converter für auf dds?

nur die wollen ja alle wissen wie man die datein vertauscht
ich will wissen wie ich die mit photoshop öffne kann um zu ändern
weil wenn ich "convert efx" in google oder so eingibt kommt nur schrott

z.b die red osmin waffe will ich schwaz silber oder so machen
vertauschen kann man da files ja net da es so ne waffe net gibt

I managed to change my shadowtit blades.. Don't think I'm the first, but.. Anyways:




The second pic is just to show that they are shadowtitanium blades...

Yea...i tryed to work out the buff skills but...got tired of it with no result...would be happy to see someone make a buff skills list...i hope that changing the files will make all the "invisible" buffs seenable as other buffs...not likely though =(

I found a solution for that problem:

goto \CABAL Online (Europe)\Data\Item\arms
and change the skins there too.
All weapons should work now without bugged effects.

sbuff_keep__205.efx - aura barier buff

Edit: No, I just found it, because I wanted to remove this stupid effect. Time is needed to find out buff animation, you have to restart game after every change. It takes too much time. You can try changing every buff, and if you see a change in game, you restore 1 file from backup and restart game. If buff changes again, you are home.

yeah, thats the trick to do it :P BUT, ive got a computer from the stoneage so restarting the game over and over again is a real pain in the *ss, searching for the right weapon model is really easy : 1h_kat_00.EBM is the normal katana ; 1h_kat_01.EBM < is iron until 1h_kat_07.EBM is the mithril one
so u can just ad up the number at the end for the next stronger weapon(katana in thi case). So, does this trick also work with the buffs? and does someone know what the buffs are for each job? so i can count out the rest so searching for the wind movement becomes somewhat easier.

Sorry mate, it doesnt work, at least not with me. Ive changed my shadowtit katana into a osmium one but then u get a buggy sword with just the green outlines and not the flashy light effects...
