Sorry, about 10 min ago tell me that the server is not responding until now it was perfect. My pc crashed wen i was in the game maybe that's the reason. i wait maybe it will came back.

no luck bot failed to contact server. please help

well ... the new version of the bot is ready but now we have a new problem... with the botserver :| this might take longer than expected.(the host needs to fix this one)

no problem dude, you did a great job till now, but can you tell me why a bot needs a server? why it dont work like a normal programm?

well the botserver is mainly to keep track of how many users the bot has.
other than that the bot receives some settings and the latest version from the server. future versions might even auto update the building list for the recognition feature. we'll see

A little suggestion:

Can't you just let the bot connect to the server, and if the server does not respond, ignore it and still let it open?

another reason for the botserver is that it gives me control over the functionality of the bot. for example if i want i can make all the bots to stop working or maybe just some of the older versions.
if the bot runs without the server i wouldnt have this kind of control.
i know it sounds weird ... but this is the way i wanted to build the bot
