I’m going to talk you about a linux distro based in Debian that I discovered time ago: Parrot Security OS.
What is ParrotSecurity OS?
The best answer is this: A linux for Hackers.
It has been build in top of Debian and oriented for pentesting, hacking, computer forensics, cloud pentesting, privacy and cryptography.
Why is it designed for Hackers?
It contains a vast amount of preinstalled packages that makes it usefull for pro pentesters and newbiews pentesters because of its light-weigh environment and user-friendly interface, it also can replace your current OS.
It also contains the compilers for the most used programming languages, a custom editor for programming and a lot of predefined programming templates.

The user interface of this awesome OS is simply amazing, it really fits the prupouse of why Parrot Security was designed for, here are some screenshots:
It uses the MATE desktop environment which makes it fast and customizable as fuck.
Anonymity in Parrot Security OS
As I’ve said before Parrot Security can be used for navigate through the web anonymously, just like TAILS, this means that whatever you surf on the internet none (well, none but fbi and cia :P) will know who you are.
It comes with a lot of tools like anon-surf that lets you surf anonymously, like if you were using TOR but in the whole OS.

Parrot uses Kali repositories in order to take latest updats for almost all the tools, but it also has its own dedicated repository where all the custom packets are kept. This is why this distro is not just a simple Kali “mod” but entire new concept which relies on Kali’s tool repositories. As such, it introduces a lot of new features and different developing choices.
