Avoiding bans
Hello
Can you tell me what are the best ways to avoid bans? I wanted to make a farming bot or a fishing bot.
One thing i do to avoid bans is using an arduino instead of sendInput to send th e clicks and keystrokes, but that wouldn't help if someone reports me. From what i understand using an arduino is the same as if there was a physical keyboard and mouse sending the input, not sure if it's worth the extra effort though.

Arduino is same as macro.
Pearl abyss : " Any gamebreaking macros, bot or anything that gives you an unfair advantage is not allowed."
" While quality of life macros are allowed, but if you get baned by xigncode gameguard we will not help you"
Quality of life macro would be idk so you can press 1 button to drift your horse. As some people have nerve problems etc..
I think that a good grinding bot, wich runs from camp to camp and looks exactly like a player doing it. Also runing the bot for a few hours only at a time, i think this is how you can avoid people reporting you.
If a bot is good and undetected, really the only way to get banned is i think to get reported.
Theres also a problem where macro detection system records keypresses, and miliseconds between them, And if the key presses are inhumanly acurate and always the same = ban.
So you bot, would need pixel detection, memory reading, screen coordinates. Scanning for mobs, and ability to set up your own custom rotation. That would mean a bot would have to have a system where it makes its own 2d map of the area you want to bot at.
Honestly... Just buy a bot subscription

hi thanks for reply. so i wrote farming but what i meant was a crop farming bot. something simple that logs to an alt, gets the crops, plants the crops, and goes back to another character that is doing normal fishing (no bot). I thought since farming takes little time the risk of getting reported would be minimal right?
Yes i understand that arduino are also illegal, but i was thinking it is less detectable than using software solutions like sendInput

Avoiding bans
06/20/2021 - Nostale - 6 Replies
Hey there, i have a quick question regarding bans.
I play on DE Servers and obviously don't want to get my accounts banned.
What would happen if i create a new GF-Account on a VPN and then create characters on INT Server and only play on them using the VPN. If i get banned on the other server, will my main get cought in the ban aswell? since it shouldnt be linked via IP. Could they still ban me through something like HWID or Cookies?

Guidelines for Avoiding Bans? (Botting)
03/09/2020 - Diablo 2 Programming - 1 Replies
Hello there! This is my first thread, but I'm stoked to have found this community - it takes me back to Blizzhacker days!
I am working on some scripts for D2, and I was wondering what the general guidelines are for avoiding bans as far as ingame action goes - how many games you can make in a given time period etc. What are the red flags for me to take into consideration as I am developing my bot? Is there a resource for this info? If so I am having trouble finding it.
