Have you ever heard of Venice Unleashed?
If not, go ahead:

I've reverse engineered the binaries, found out how to bypass licensing. Thus allowing the client binaries to host dedicated servers.

All you need to do is to replace your vu.exe with this one.
(follow VU instructions for parameters on running the program)

Actually, the crack is packed. This is my invention. I don't want the developers to get to know my trick.

I didn't have any luck with this.

Got the following message when launching the .exe.

Failure

Could not locate the main Venice Unleashed module (vu.dll). Please verify your installation and try again.

Very keen to get this working please help.

Will this allow fully offline LAN play?

Hey man, do you still know how to do it? I was researching for months and tried to learn reverse engineering to remove the license check and make VU SA, but i couldn't do it. This would be a dream coming true m8. I even made a request on Github, because i hate it when they release a modding API and dedicated server wich still require 3rd party servers to authenticate WTF. They just ******* ignored me and on their discord they treat me like trash. Absolutely disgusting ignorant behaviour.

So in the name of all loving Battlefield Fans, please help me and others in this community and give us the real independence we need with a VU client that doesn't need their server for authentication. I love archiving and with the bots mods it's a masterpiece, but not future proof if they ever shut down their servers and say **** you to all players.
