AutoIt Newbie Seeks Help
Greetings!
I am a programmer who is proficient with SQL, VB6, VB.Net and PHP. I recently downloaded AutoIt to try my hand on programming a bot a MMO game that I play.
So far, my bot is simple. It can move the mouse (MouseMove, MouseClick) and it can send keyboard commands (Send). I do not have a GUI yet as this is a practice session for me. Pretty much everything I need is here and it's working.
My problem is GameGuard. The SEND function does not work and the mouse pointer stops at the border of the game windows.
Some forums that I visited are 2 or 3 years old, therefore I do not know if the solutions there are still valid. Some that I read said that there is no resolution for this. But I saw a lot of bots in the game that I play so I think there is. Some said that I need to run my bot in a virtual machine (VM).
All I need is a hand to hold me and guide me to the steps that needs to be done. I do not need to be spoon fed. Just point me to the right directions.
