About X-Legend and Private Servers

Hello,

I’ve been looking for Grand Fantasia server files with no success, after an exhaustive searching I found this site: so I started looking further and found this: and this: all three developed by X-Legend and I wonder… how do these groups got the files? Who has it who sells it? What is that “.to” thing? Lot of questions and no answers, still I haven’t found any X-Legend games server files…

I dont know about the others, but Aurakingdom.to has a official licence for setting up a server. They get the files from the developers.

Directly from Aura, the Woman who manages the Server.
Currently, there are even some saying that aeria-games will loose the licence since there are too many complains from their users. Eidolons which are free (you get them by doing quests) arent on aeria-servers. They tend to be to greedy at cashshop too.

Aurakingdom.to-Server has a cashshop too, but the prices are way lower. Setting up such a shop is illegal without a licence. So even without believing what the serverowner says, knowing the server has been online for years, it is save to say, x-legend is alright with it.

By the word: Aurakingdom.to's content is about 6-12 Months before that of aeria. The class "crusader" is been out since a month and there are new maps, 3rd-star-evolutions vor eidos, more eidos, more stuff etc.
They get their content directly from the source and have to translate it theirselfs.

They are doing a pretty good job with all that.
I switched from "offcial" server to aurakingdom.to two months ago and i dont regret it. If i had to place a bet, i would say aeria dies within the next 2 years. The rumors about x-legend wanting to get rid of them are getting louder and louder..

And no, you dont get presents for "donations". It is true that "first-time-spenders" get some silly/cheap stuff, but every additional donation only gives you "ap", the ingame-currency. You trade real money with the electronic currency. Thats no "present".

The term "Private server" is used to describe a server set up by none-offical server-owners. There are about 100k private minecraft-servers, which doesnt make a single of them illegal. Also, aurakingdom.to is the one and only "private" server out there. You wont find another one. And even the dumbest laywer will find its homepage in a matter of seconds. There is a sole reason for ak.to to still be out there: Its tollerated/accepted.

The game-developers do not care about who hosts their game. They care about the money earned by the licences. Aeria is just a paying customer, nothing more. Calling it "offical" is the same as declaring the winner of a marathon to be the only one that finished the race. Just becouse they came first, doesnt mean aeria is the sole legitime hoster...

Not insulting, just stating a fact. If you believe this private server paid X-legends for the server files or this is an official server, then you deserve to be called stupid.

Ak.to pays for the licence? Where can I see that?

Aeria have all the rights to publish the game without any other competitor, the exception being the same Fantasy Frontier (TW and HK), Innocent World (JP) and the thai version.

We won't find another private server because nobody else stole those server files, simple as that.

And they know they can't sell stuff like a legal server, THAT'S WHY they use the word DONATION. Don't you trust me? See what happens when you want to get Aura points, the "cash shop" currency:



They tell you how to DONATE, not BUY aura points. After the DONATION, they gift you those aura points. It looks the same, but legally it's different. They are disguising the moneymaking (which can be sued easily) with donation rewards (legal vacuum). To prove the latter, they would have to spend a lot of resources for the lawsuit, which isn't worth at all since the owner won't pay the compensation and nothing stops them to reopen the private server with another name.

I started this topic to look for server files but it’s now a dispute about whether AK.to is illegal or not.

I’ve been developing Private Servers for a while and I know how hard can be to get the proper files, I’ve been looking for those files... No, any files related to X-Legend for a long period with no succeed.

Looking further into this matter I found this:

Tonga - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And I wonder, what does Kingdom of Tonga have to do with these Private Servers? For me all this is a mystery, seems like some ex-employees of X-Legend leaked the files and publish a Private Server, that’s the only explanation that I can think of.

Any other thoughts guys?

If you are good, there would be some ways to get the files, cause there are more than 7(known) provider who have the files with different versions of the content, like Aeria.
