Well, I know you just want to publish good things but I think you can´t call this a complete guide - it´s just misleading.
It doesn´t explain anything in detail at all, e.g.

Type

Mostly a useless tab, I only use it for pasting the Lorem Ispum text.

This is just subjective.

Or for instance:

Select

This contains most features found in the Marquee tool. It can select all, invert, and deselect.

This is just not complete.

There are better ways to get to know with Photoshop. I would suggest videos.

In my opinion beginners should watch (interactive) instead of reading this text.

Last but not least: What´s your source?
