this is how u get window mode.
Archlord officially doesn't support a windowed mode.
Open the file COption.ini in your Archlord/ini folder with notepad. The second and third lines define the height and width you want to run Archlord in. Normally this states the last resolution you've run the game in. Now change these to a resolution that doesn't 'exist' on your system. If you normally run in 1024*768, try 1023 for width and 767 for height for instance. The resolution you define is the actual size of the window, so it needs to be smaller than your desktop resolution, but still close to one of the existing ones (1024*768 preferably - haven't tried any of the others), to avoid messing up the UI, as the UI can *only* be drawn at the predefined resolutions. Anyway, save the file, and start the game. A box should pop up with a dropdown box so you can select graphics adapter and resolution - but just click OK. The game should now start up in a window.
Be aware that trying to run the game in resolutions higher than 1024*768 through this method won't work. Your UI will be totally messed up
