Wake me up on ep3 or even 4 if 3 doesn't have the Webzen skill rework (like 100% slow on AoEs).
We don't know any specifics such as rates and how CC will be obtained (possibly free if I read some posts right).
Servers are popping up left and right, but I have a feeling cmb isn't about the cash grab as most of them are AND — extremely important — not about custom content aside QoL on the server.
Took several years for the VM to drop and the test server to open, so my expectations are low for it to see it rising anytime soon.

It will take some time to build the kind of experience I want to give to players I agree. Fortunately, by having things as a progression server, players can play while I work on supporting the next episodes data and whatnot. There will just be a bit of a long wait time for things to begin unfortunately, since I have to not only downgrade the code to support episode 1's data, but there are some other improvements I am looking to make too, and of course try to make sure everything is secure. However, I think once things are rolling it'll move at a decent pace. I have some thoughts about for how long I want to stick to a singular episode before upgrading the game. I'll bring that up in the discord when the time comes. I do however, want to try and recreate the experience of the episode itself as it was when it released to the best of my ability.
I want to try and keep things community driven for the most part, though I don't mind vetoing things if necessary, since at the end of the day I'm the one handling everything. Though I do think starting at the beginning of the game will be rather interesting. As for rates, I don't want to do retail, I definitely would like to increase them a little. 3x probably, but I'm open to discussion on them. CC is also something I haven't quite figured out yet. Essentially the hardware will need to be paid for, right now that is already taken care of, but once I launch, I intend to move to better hardware which will incur a cost. I'm very much against cash grab and other sorts of tactics, but I would also like to make sure it is worth my time to devote to rebuilding the classic experience. I do have plans to allow all players access to necessary cc items and the like, I've also been mulling over the idea of Gold -> CC, but there is a lot that has to be thought about for that to try and minimize abuse. Not all of this was towards you by the way, most of it was just me airing my thoughts in regards to your own. I appreciate you responding to him in an honest manner.
